Want a really cool way to get to know and see what the Elmwood Village has to offer? Visit its 13th Annual Festival of the Arts on August 25th and 26th. More than 170 different artists and craftspeople will be in the area showing off and selling the amazing work they have created. All different types of styles and mediums will be shown so there will be something for everyone. There will also be 50 different performances on three stages during the two-day event. This is a completely family friendly event, much like many other of the events in the Village, and kids will have the opportunity create their own projects and pieces at Kidfest, and even march in the Kidfest Parade on that Sunday. A family dance tent is also available for any of those who like to shake and move a little! Food vendors will also be in the area to fill and fuel you up for the day ahead at the festival. Booths will be all along the strip where you can learn about solar energy and how to help sustain the planet along with finding out how you can maybe get involved in helping out the community at the booths associated with cultural row. The Festival runs August 25th from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and August 26th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Elmwood Ave between Lafayette and West Ferry.
